AURORA - Voters in Aurora are strongly in favor of keeping a pit bull ban in place.
An effort to repeal the ban is failing 68 to 32 percent.
It has been a controversial question in Aurora as people opposed to the ban have argued that breed specific bans aren't fair. But this one is going to stay in place.
The City of Aurora's animal control division supports the ban, saying dog bites have gone down since the ban was put in place.
