The state Republican party will teach candidates, activists and anyone else who pays $75 how to campaign in Colorado on July 14.
The training is from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in the Denver Tech Center.
The campaign school will cover:
- Grassroots organizing
- “Polling: What does it mean and how to use it”
- Direct-mail advertising
- “Messaging 101”
- Social media and rapid response
- Fundraising
- Campaign rules compliance
“The state party will always be available to support candidates and campaigns, but people want to be self-reliant,” Daniel Cole, spokesman for the state Republican Party, told Colorado Politics. “The goal of campaign schools is to equip political aspirants and operatives with the tools they need to succeed.
