FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. — A teen's very unique formal wear took home the first prize at the Minnesota State Fair.
Staci Jo Sundblad, 16, is a 4-H'er and a budding designer from Mayer, Minnesota. She made her stunning playing card dress from donated decks of cards attached to a dress she bought at Goodwill for $7.
It took 40 decks of cards and 5,000 staples, but it paid off. Sundblad took home the purple ribbon, the top prize, in the 4-H arts and crafts category at the Minnesota State Fair.
