Aaron LaPedisgives insider tips on toget fabulous finds that can make you some big bucks. His book, "The Garage Sale Millionaire," is in its second edition.
He stopped by 9NEWS to talk about it and in turn gave a look around the 9NEWS garage. We showed him some old video equipment. He said if we cleaned it up and described it right, we could get anywhere from $50-$200 for it on Ebay.
"A lot of people will just pass on things because they think it's not old, not antique. It's not what they think can make them money. But if you can find the back of old stereo equipment or video equipment, and find the serial number, you can make money off of it."
Another simple tip from LaPedis: "Anything Beatles is worth money."
