DENVER - Drivers will see some new traffic shifts at Federal Boulevard and Sixth Avenue.
If you're heading westbound on Sixth Avenue and are wanting to exit onto Federal Boulevard, you will now do so from the left lane. The Colorado Department of Transportation says drivers need to prepare by getting into the left lane leading up to Federal and follow the signs.
Drivers getting onto westbound Sixth Avenue from Federal Boulevard will now do so from left to right. Meaning drivers will enter westbound Sixth Avenue from the far left lane and merging to their right.
Drivers in the left lane on westbound Sixth Avenue should be observant and alert of traffic merging from the left.
