KUSA – It has required months of construction and even closing the entire highway some nights, but finally, the new pedestrian bridge over Interstate 25 between Colorado Boulevard and Evans Avenue opened.
The bridge aims to connect neighborhoods on one side of I-25 between Colorado Boulevard and Evans Avenue to the light rail stop on the other side.
The $8-million bridge is longer than a football field.
