FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The Fort Collins Police Services is still trying to find out what happened to a man found unresponsive in his home on April 29.
The Larimer County Coroner identified the man on Monday as 63-year-old Joseph "Sonny" Brigman. The cause of death was blood loss caused by a gunshot wound. His death has been ruled a homicide.
A neighbor went to visit Brigman at the Verbena Way apartment complex and found him seriously injured. Police said the neighbor then called 911 and Brigman was rushed to an area hospital where he later died.
