DENVER — Colorado residents can now purchase official state lottery tickets and scratchers from their mobile phone and other devices.
The online platform and app Jackpot.com launched service in Colorado on Friday.
The Jackpot.com platform allows Colorado players to buy tickets for nationwide games such as Mega Millions and Powerball, as well as state lottery games including Cash 5, Pick 3 and Lucky 4 Life.
Colorado residents will also access to Scratchers, a digital scratch ticket. Jackpot.com launched in Colorado with five scratchers including $3,000,000 Supreme, Casino Ca$h Chips and $250,000 ORO. Customers "scratch" their device screen with their finger or mouse to reveal their scanned ticket and potential winnings.
A Colorado Lottery spokesperson said Jackpot.com is not affiliated the Colorado Lottery, but is instead a courier service operating in Colorado that creates its own partnership with specific retailers.
In Colorado, Jackpot.com players are purchasing tickets from a retailer in Aurora, Lucky Choice at 10021 E. Iliff Ave.
The Jackpot.com platform purchases tickets on behalf of its customers from an official state lottery retailer, displaying a scan of their ticket and transferring winnings under $600 in real-time to their account.
The company said that for prizes greater than $600, Jackpot.com delivers the ticket to the winning player so they can collect the winnings from the Colorado Lottery.
