WRAY, Colo. — Someone is $7.8 million richer after a Colorado Lotto+ ticket was sold at a convenience store on the plains of northeast Colorado.
The winning $7,860,854 Colorado Lotto+ ticket was sold during Wednesday night's drawing at a 7-Eleven store in Wray.
The winning numbers were 7-16-23-28-37-40. The lucky Colorado ticket matched all six numbers.
Located on the northeastern Colorado plains, Wray is the county seat of Yuma County and is 170 miles east of Denver, nine miles west of the Nebraska state line and 25 miles northwest of the Kansas state line. The population was 2,358 at the 2020 United States census.
The Colorado Lottery allows everyone to remain anonymous if they win, but it's sometimes hard in towns like Wray.
The odds of winning the Colorado Lotto+ jackpot are 1:3,838,380. The odds of winning the Plus jackpot is one in 3,838,380 million. The odds of winning any prize are 1:30.
