Firefighters responded to a 2.5-acre wildfire near Wamblee Trail in Jefferson County on Friday.
According to a tweet from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, no structures are immediately threatened by the fire.
Fifty homes were evacuated because of the fire. Just before 7:30 p.m. that evacuation order was lifted.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said that firefighters will remain on the scene of the fire overnight Friday. They do not anticipate needing to do any aerial water drops overnight.
A tweet from the office said that residents nearby might see smoke and flames overnight but they do not need to be concerned.
According to the Sheriff's Office, North Fork Fire, the US Forest Service and West Metro Fire worked to contain the blaze.
