CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Interstate 25 has reopened at the Colorado-Wyoming border Saturday after it was closed due to a wildfire.
Wyoming Highway Patrol said at 10:49 a.m. that the fire west of Cheyenne was not under control and that first responders were working to combat the blaze.

Colorado State Patrol in Larimer County said at 11:40 a.m. that I-25 was closed at Mile Point 281, and it reopened just before 1 p.m.
Traffic was being diverted at Owl Canyon Road over Highway 287 while the closure was in place.
The National Weather Service in Boulder said 60 to 70-mile-per-hour gusts have been recorded north of Wellington to the Wyoming border.
