A water skier died after an apparent accident at Standley Lake Regional Park Sunday afternoon.
The Westminster Fire Department was first called to the park just after noon. Firefighters say when they arrived, the victim was bleeding and getting help from park rangers.
Firefighters say the victim had significant trauma, and later died.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
The victim has not yet been identified.
