Students protested outside the school showing their support for Brian Lopez. Lopez was suspended for 15 days for a posting that his supporters say was meant to be humorous. Another student was suspended for one day -- after forwarding the posting."I believe it's caused more disruption in the classroom since Brian was suspended, than it did before hand," said ACLU legal director Mark Silverstein. "I think before there were maybe 12 girls that were offended by what was put on it and now it's the entire school in an uproar." The ACLU says it will defend Brian Lopez to the school board. It says the school has no legitimate power to restrict what a student says off campus.
