FRISCO - Surrounded by snow and the tall mountains of Frisco, you can find something a little unexpected: Former Louisiana resident Ramon Griffin cooking up Cajun Turkeys in front of his restaurant, The Lost Cajun.

"You know what, it's strange to us too," Griffin said.

For the past few years, he's spent his Thanksgiving by turning up the heat and deep frying more than 40 turkeys while also making gallons of gumbo.

The small restaurant's business has boiled over.

"It's amazing to us how fast this little gumbo shop on Main Street has grown," Griffin said.

It's a recipe that seems to be doing well. They are opening more restaurants around the state and now they're going national.

This Thanksgiving has made Griff very Thankful, knowing that he might have started out a lost Cajun but here in Colorado seems to found his home.
