KUSA – A report from 24/7 Wall Street ranked Pueblo as one of the least-livable cities in the country based on quality of life factors like crime rate and the economy.

Pueblo, which was the only Colorado city to make the list, came in as the No. 17 least-livable city. The report cited Pueblo’s low median income of $38,380 a year and high poverty rate as reasons why it made the list.

24/7 Wall Street also gave Pueblo the ranking because of what they say was Pueblo’s high crime rate.

“There were 980 violent crimes for every 100,000 residents in 2016, the worst violent crime rate of any city in the state and nearly triple Colorado's violent crime rate,” the report reads.

The least-livable city in the country was Detroit, according to the report. Detroit received the less-than-honorable distinction due to high poverty, unemployment and crime.

No. 2 was Flint, Michigan, followed by St. Louis, Missouri, Memphis, Tennessee, and Cleveland, Ohio.
