Pluto gets ready for its closeup, thanks to Ralph

It's been nearly 10 years in the making but the dwarf planet Pluto is getting ready for its closeup.
Ball Aerospace built this 23-pound camera that will take photos of the dwarf planet.

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - It's been nearly 10 years in the making but the dwarf planet Pluto is getting ready for its closeup.

A camera, nicknamed Ralph, made by Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., is preparing to take photos of Pluto when the New Horizons Pluto-Kuiper Belt mission spacecraft gets within 7,000 miles of Pluto on July 14.
