RTD is throwing a little party Friday morning, complete with refreshments and swag for early rider.
This isn't any old party. It's the A-LINE'S 1ST BIRTHDAY!!!!!
We took the liberty of crafting this handy invitation.
(Just so we're all on the same page, the A line's actual birthday will be on Saturday.)
On its own birthday party announcement, RTD notes there have been "some operational challenges" throughout this year, and "many achievements."
Among the achievements are 5 million new riders, an 89 percent on time year to date, and the creation of jobs - ya know, like the flaggers, who have to stand guard 24-7 at the crossings because they don't work.
If you don't catch the Union Station rider appreciation party, you can stop by one of these, too:
- Peoria Station, Commuter rail platform: 6:30-8:30 a.m.
- Denver Airport Station, Transit platform: 5-7 a.m
From Next to you, happy birthday A line! May you always be running...
