Next's 2023 ornament: May your holiday be 'Crispy' and bright

Deck the halls with Crispy Donkey.

DENVER — We've made our list; we've checked it twice.

And now we're checking on more thing off for the holidays.

In 2020, the Next with Kyle Clark family started a new holiday tradition. Four years later, we're sharing our latest creation with you.

As many of you know, or maybe you don't, one of our meteorologist friends has an alter-ego. At least our closed captioning system seems to think so.

Back in June, closed captioning did Meteorologist Chris Bianchi dirty after a day of on-the-ground weather reporting, calling him Crispy Donkey. The nickname just kind of stuck.

Crispy Donkey has brought us joy all year round, from viewer artwork to Halloween costumes. It's only right that this ornament brings a little joy into your homes, too.

To deck the halls with your very own Crispy Donkey, open this document.

Print out the sheet, fold it on the dotted line and tape the two sides together. Like last year, punch a hole right at the top and pull a string through. Finally, hang it.

If you're like us, you've been collecting these things like Pokémon cards for the last few years. Now, even if you missed one, you can stay up to date with the full set.

Our very first ornament was a miniature version of the woodpile from Kyle's basement that served as a cozy backdrop throughout the pandemic. The 2020 ornament is still available to print and download here.

In 2021, our vaccine-inspired Shot-ski decorated trees as folks traded booze for Band-Aids. It's still available too, and you can find it here.

Last year, Next was Target Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, where we hoped your holiday excursions avoided unfortunate automotive upheavals. You can find that one here.
