It's a sign... a couple of them... and it could also be a trap.
Next viewer Bob Prall spotted a few confusing parking signs in the Highlands, near the intersection of 32nd and Perry.
As we can understand it, this is how you figure out when you can park in this area:
- Is it between April and November? Y/N
- Is it the third Tuesday of the month? Y/N
- If you've made it this far, you can park here:
- For up to two hours between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m.
- Not at all if it's between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- For up to two hours from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- You can always park here if it's a Sunday, or if it's like Thanksgiving or something.
- You're also good on any day of the week, it seems, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Prall says he has this mess all figured out.
"You only need to re-print one sign," he says. "The two-hour parking needs to be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. instead of 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. (like the other sign near it). That would solve the whole thing. But you still can't see it as you're driving by because there's four things to look at, and it is a tow-away zone."
As we were over in the Highlands checking out this sign, we spotted another one, and we didn't get that one either. "Two-hour parking, 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.," it says.
This sign is at the corner of 32nd and Osceola, and it's just madness. We're no math whizzes, but 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. would appear to be one hour.
We checked in with the city. Denver's public works department says those are misprints.
The sign at 32nd and Osceola was fixed Monday. The one at 32nd and Perry will be fixed Tuesday. When they're "fixed," the city puts a sticker over the misprints.
If you think you got a parking ticket at either of these intersections, and it may be an error because of the signs, Public Works says you can go to the parking magistrate to dispute it. If you do that, and lose, get in touch with us.
