Fire at office building considered 'suspicious'

The fire that damaged the administrative offices for the Shiloh House Friday morning is considered suspicious, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

LITTLETON — The fire that heavily damaged the administrative office building for the Shiloh House at 6350 W Coal Mine Ave early Friday morning is considered suspicious, according to a Tweet from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

Firefighters from South Metro Fire Rescue, Littleton Fire Rescue, and West Metro Fire Rescue all responded to the fire at the two-story office building around 6:30 a.m. Friday morning.

The building houses the administration offices for Shiloh House, which according to its website, provides residential care, educational programming, day treatment, and outpatient services to Colorado youth and families.

In a Tweet, just after 7 a.m. Littleton Fire said the incident was under control and searches of the building for victims had been completed. No injuries were reported.

Just before 1 p.m. Friday, the sheriff's office said they were investigating the cause due to the suspicious nature of it. They asked anyone who might have seen something to call their tip line at 303-271-5612
