A motorcyclist was killed after a hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning in Denver.
Denver Police say the crash happened on the northbound Interstate 25 ramp to Interstate 70 when the driver of a pickup sideswiped a vehicle, then crashed into the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, and died a short time later, DPD said.
Police say the driver who hit the motorcyclist fled the scene, but was located on foot in the area of 47th Avenue and York Street. He was arrested, and is being held for investigation of vehicular homicide and DUI.
An investigation is ongoing.
