The woman who sparked an Amber Alert after she allegedly kidnapped her daughter now faces several charges, including child abuse.
Just after 9 a.m. on Sunday, the child's grandmother told police the biological mother, Meshelle Branch, forced her way into the apartment and took her 22-month-old daughter.
Police say Robert Owens, 28, accompanied Branch into the apartment.
Amber Alert out of Thornton cancelled, child has been located, Bio-mom and accomplice in-custody. Child not injured.

The little girl was taken the hospital after she was found and medically cleared. Police say she's now back with her grandmother. Branch is being held on investigation of violation of protection order, first-degree criminal trespass and child abuse.Owens is being held for investigation of first-degree criminal trespass and child abuse.The case remains an active and open investigation.
