Jeff Hammond has been called "one of NASCAR's greatest crew chiefs of all time," known and beloved by the 75 million die-hard NASCAR fans who watch him religiously as he delivers color commentary during his weekly pre-race television show from the famed "Hollywood Hotel" usually located near Victory Lane at each race track. Hammond, who started his NASCAR career in 1974, serving on all of Cale Yarborough's Winston Cup Championship Series and who later helped see Darrell Waltrip to several more championships, is now an on-air commentator for Fox Sports and FX and as such, has his finger on the pulse of all things NASCAR.
