Participants receive a combination of on-hill instruction and off-hill life coaching. The goal of this intimate women-only ski camp is to allow participants to tap into their psyches, exploring what makes each woman perform at her best, whether that means mastering a powder run down Aspen Mountain, taking on the next big deal at work or raising a family. Kids get a smooth start on the slopes at Crested Butte Mountain Resort's Fun 4 Kids program. Youngsters ages 3-6 are introduced to skiing and get a chance to explore the mountain over this 8-week program. Fun 4 Kids consists of a one-hour lesson with the same instructor over eight weeks. Learning from the same instructor creates stability and boosts a child's self confidence on the snow. Echo offers a unique chance for parents and children to learn together. With a Parent amp; Me Semi-Private Lesson, an instructor gives personalized coaching for parents to teach skiing to their children between 3-6 years of age. Ski Cooper will not only teach students to ski and board but will teach them the important fundamentals, including how fast they should progress and, of course, how much fun can be had. Ski Cooper has been teaching skiing and boarding for years. Many of Ski Cooper's instructors have nearly 25 years of teaching experience and some of them even learned to ski and board at Ski Cooper themselves. A two-hour lesson, equipment rental, and a beginner lift ticket costs $50 or guests can choose a full-mountain lift ticket for $10 more. Steamboat

Skiers Level 1 is Steamboat's premier, season-long clinic, where everything is taken care of for first-time skiers, including three full days of instruction, gear rental with 'In-Room' fitting, and lift tickets. Skiers will have the same instructor for all three days. Steamboat guarantees that guests will be skiing comfortably on green runs at the end of the program. If that's not the case, the resort offers guests free lessons until they get there. Skiers Level 1 costs $299. Lesson must be taken on consecutive days and prices are package based and not subject to discount.

The Learn to Shine program at Sunlight Mountain makes access to the exciting winter sports of skiing and snowboarding affordable.
