16-year-old reported missing in Elizabeth, says CBI

ELIZABETH, Colo. — The Colorado Bureau of Investigation put out an "Endangered Missing Alert" on Tuesday for a missing 16-year-old girl in Elbert County who was last seen on Sunday.

The alert says Kateryna Michal, who goes by "Katie," was last seen on Sept. 8 around 4 p.m. in the area of the 4200 block of Ivydel Circle in Elizabeth.

Katie is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes and is an Alaskan Native. CBI said the girl was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, black leggings and slide slippers.

The missing alert also says Katie requires medication that she does not have with her.

CBI asks anyone who has seen Katie or knows where she may be to call 911 or the Elbert County Sheriff's Office at 303-621-2027.
