A man has life-threatening injuries after his personal watercraft collided with a boat in the Cherry Creek Reservoir Sunday afternoon.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office says a call came in about the apparent accident just after 3:12 p.m. Park rangers were on the scene four minutes later.
The man was rushed to the hospital after rangers pulled him out of the water and did CPR. He was wearing a life vest.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife says investigators have confiscated both water vessels.
No additional details about what caused the collision – or if anyone could face any charges – have been released.
