(WBIR - KNOXVILLE) The Knoxville Fire Department said there were no injuries reported in a Friday morning house fire in East Knoxville.
Authorities were dispatched to the 700 block of Houston Street around 9:45 a.m. Friday when they found smoke coming from an address, and a woman running in and out of the house.
KFD said the woman was transported to an area hospital to calm her down, and an acquaintance of the resident at the scene was detained by officers for questioning.
The woman's dog was found uninjured, and taken to a neighbor's fenced yard for safe keeping.
Arson investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
