Kebler Pass will not be opening on time this spring.
A large chunk of County Road 12 has washed away or crumbled in Gunnison County near Lost Lake.
Gunnison County plans to bring in engineers to assess the damage and figure the best way to repair the road.
If the roadway can’t be opened in time for Memorial Day weekend, the county says they will open the road on the east side up to Lost Lake.
