DENVER - Authorities say an inmate has been found dead in the downtown Denver jail.
Sheriff Gary Wilson says the man's body was found in a cell early Monday. Wilson said the death appears to be a suicide. An autopsy is planned Tuesday, and the coroner hasn't ruled on the cause or manner of death.
The inmate's name wasn't released.
Police are investigating.
