Human-caused wildfire reported in Park County fully contained

The one-acre fire has been fully contained.

Fire officials are calling a one-acre wildfire in Park County the 39 Mile Fire. It is fully contained as of 7:07 p.m.

According to the Pike & San Isabel National Forests/Cimarron & Commanche National Grasslands Fire Information, the fire is human caused and was reported at 3:55 p.m. Monday afternoon before being cleaned up less than four hours later.

It's in Park County along South Park Road about 18 miles southeast of Harstel.

No structures are threatened and no roads are closed as a result of the fire, which is in a remote area just north of the Thirtynine Mile Mountain.
