DENVER — Over 300 Denver businesses are hoping to get thousands in federal grant dollars to help with the negative financial impacts of homeless encampments.
Bars and breweries, cafes, a few small concert venues, hair studios, a yoga studio and auto shops are among those seeking one-time infusions of $7,500 or $15,000, depending on annual gross revenue, for aid after encampments located within two blocks of their business.
