You might have heard those campaigns telling people to head outside instead of to the mall on Black Friday.
It’s a pretty cool sentiment, and if the crowds are Rocky Mountain National Park are any indication, people are listening.
The park tweeted photos showing long lines of cars waiting to get into the east side of the park in Estes Park.

Because of extreme congestion, vehicle access has been restricted on Bear Lake Road from Moraine Park to Bear Lake.
Crowds like this are part of the reason the National Park Service wants to raise the price of one-week entry into the park from $20 to $70.
But really, you can’t complain that people are getting outside and enjoying nature.
