DENVER - The grandmother who left a girl alone at Civic Center Park after a fireworks show July 3 has been arrested.
Brenda Litllespottedhorse, 55, of Denver, was arrested around 11 a.m. Thursday on a probation violation warrant out of South Dakota.
She was arrested at 9607 West Arizona Avenue in Lakewood.
Littlespottedhorse was booked at the Jefferson County Jail.
Other than the South Dakota warrant, there are no additional charges at this time.
A police report obtained by 9Wants to Know shows the girl was found alone at Civic Center Park around 10:15 p.m. on July 3 after the fireworks show.
A background check reveals Littlespottedhorse may also be known as Brenda Gallas. She was supposed to be taking care of the toddler over the weekend.
