LOS ANGELES — A Spirit Airlines flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Denver was forced to turn around after the crew reported fumes in the cockpit and cabin.
A spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the plane landed at 9:50 a.m. local time without incident.
The flight involved was Spirit Airlines Flight 630. It's listed as delayed on the Spirit Airlines website. According to the site, the flight is now scheduled to depart at 12:30 p.m. local time and arrive at Denver International Aiport at 3:50 p.m.
It was an Airbus 321, aircraft according to the FAA.
