FREDERICK, Colorado — A father and daughter on a motorcycle were killed in a crash Tuesday night in Frederick, according to the Frederick Police Department (FPD).
They were heading north on Colorado Boulevard near the Bella Rosa Golf Course around 7:30 p.m. when their motorcycle was hit by a Chevy pickup truck, FPD said. Both people on the motorcycle were ejected.
The passenger, 24-year-old Riley Sluman, died on the scene, according to police. The driver, 54-year-old Michael Sluman, died later at the hospital.
The coroner's office said the victims were father and daughter.
The 24-year-old woman who was driving the pickup truck remains in the hospital, according to police.
At this time, officers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
