DENVER - Former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb was admitted to Denver Health Medical Center Thursday but is expected to be released Friday afternoon.
The hospital says the 73-year-old was having lunch with his wife Wilma and a number of guests when he became ill. He was transported to Denver Health.
He was evaluated and treated for dehydration. He and his wife are grateful for the outpouring of support from the community.
Webb served as Denver mayor for 12 years, from 1991 to 2003.
