EVERGREEN, Colo. — Crews from Evergreen Fire Rescue (EFR) responded to an early morning fire in the 3800 block of Spring Valley Trail on Tuesday.
Nobody was home when the fire started, EFR said in a tweet. The structure was a total loss, according to EFR.
EFR first tweeted about the fire at about 1 a.m., asking the public to avoid the area as crews battled the fire.
A single-family home was fully involved, according to EFR.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office was assisting with notifying neighbors in the area about the fire, EFR said in the tweet.
A LookoutAlert was issued to residents within a 1/4 mile radius of the fire, according to EFR.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
