DENVER - A Denver woman has been cited after state troopers say she backed into several children at Valley View Elementary School in the Mapleton Public School District.
State Troopers responded to the school located at 660 West 70th Avenue in Adams County around 4 p.m. Thursday.
A spokesman for CSP says Maria Aguilar-Rodriguez, 32, was cited for with 3 counts of careless driving causing bodily injury. She was also cited for driving without a valid license.
CSP says there are serious but non-life threatening injuries. At least 2 of the children were taken to the hospital.
