LONGMONT - Two people were killed in a head-on crash in Longmont Tuesday afternoon.
It happened around 3 p.m. in front of Our Savior's Evangelical Lutheran Church on 17th Avenue near Gay Street.
A female driver of a pickup truck and the female driver of a SUV were killed. Two children in the SUV suffered minor injuries.
Police have not released many details, but the the view from SKY9 shows the pickup with heavy front-end damage and the SUV covered in a tarp.
17th Avenue is closed in the area while police complete their investigation. The names of the victims have not been released.
