A domestic violence suspect who deputies say removed his ankle monitor turned himself into law enforcement on Sunday afternoon.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office says Thomas Benjamin Armijo, 32, was out on bond from Denver awaiting trial for domestic violence assault and violation of a protection order.
On Saturday, deputies said Armijo removed the GPS tracker from his ankle. He turned himself in on Sunday around 2 p.m., according to the Adams County Sheriff's Office's Twitter page.
