Firefighters battle early morning apartment fire

The fire was first reported Monday morning at an apartment complex near East Mississippi Avenue and South Dahlia Street.

GLENDALE, Colo. — Firefighters responded to an early morning apartment fire near East Mississippi Avenue and South Dahlia Street. That's on the east side of Infinity Park in Glendale. 

When crews arrived, they saw "heavy fire and smoke" coming from a single apartment room, according to a post from Denver Fire on the social platform X.

At about 5:34 a.m., Denver Fire reported the fire had been extinguished and at least one family displaced due to fire and water damage.

No injuries have been reported, according to Denver Fire.
