Deion Sanders' sons eye mansion purchase for dad in Colorado foothills

The home is set on 33 acres between downtown Golden and Boulder and backs up to about 20,000 acres of Jefferson County open space.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — The University of Colorado's head football coach was recently surprised by sons Shedeur Sanders and Deion Sanders Jr. who showed him around a $7.2 million home listed in a luxury neighborhood in the foothills off Highway 93 between Golden and Boulder.

While other local and national media reports say the home 18 miles south of Folsom Field has been purchased by Sanders' sons for him, no deal appears to have been inked just yet.

The house was still listed for sale more than a day after a Well Off Media video was posted on YouTube late Friday titled "Deion Sanders’ sons are buying him a new home in Colorado." Well Off Media is associated with Deion Sanders Jr.

The home, which has been on the market for 100 days, is listed by real estate agent Amanda Fein of Compass. Fein declined to comment on the status of the property when reached by the Denver Business Journal.

Under-contract homes are usually taken off of the market or marked as "pending" on real estate listing platforms. No public documents show a transaction has taken place.
