One woman is dead and a man has been transported to the hospital after a crash in Lafayette.
The accident was first reported at 8:45 a.m. Monday, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
Colorado State Patrol says two vehicles were involved in the crash at US 287 and Isabelle Road, north of Lafayette.
The woman who died was 22 years old, according to Colorado State Patrol. The man taken to the hospital is 45 years old.
Southbound US 287 remains closed at Jasper Road. The Boulder County Sheriff's Office recommends avoiding the area or using 119th Street or East County Line Road.
