LITTLETON – Firefighters say snow and ice made it difficult to battle a house fire that broke out near the intersection of South Kendall Boulevard and West Ken Caryl Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Authorities first got a call about the blaze at around 3:55 p.m. Firefighters say they were on the scene two minutes later. When they arrived, the garage was already well-involved.
Five fire engines, three medics and 25 firefighters were on the scene.
In wintry conditions, crews say it's slippery and difficult to advance hose lines.
Investigators went to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
