KUSA - Expect to pay more to camp at Colorado State Parks starting Nov. 1.

Basic, electric, full hook-up and cabin/yurt fees will increase at the 33 parks where camping is available, Colorado Parks and Wildlife announced Friday.

CPW said fee increases range from $2 to $10 per night, depending on the type of site.

Department officials said yurt and cabin sites brought on the greatest increase.

For those of you who've already made future reservations, don't worry – current camping fees will not change in those cases.

CPW said this is the first increase in camping fees since 2010.

Most camping fees range from $10 to $28, not including the reservation fee and park pass. Every vehicle entering a park must also have a park pass for each day. Annual park passes are $70, and most daily park passes are $7.
