COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Airport is again operating after a fire on the roof of the main terminal.
All incoming and outgoing flights were grounded on Tuesday in wake of the blaze.
The three alarm fire broke around 11:30 p.m. Monday. It took firefighters about an hour to get the fire out. Crews were at the airport assessing smoke, water and fire damage.
The airport was evacuated safely. Passengers on arriving planes had to wait to disembark but eventually deplaned at the Jet Center on Aviation Way.
The cause is under investigation.
Flights resumed at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday with a limited schedule. Here's information by airline:
