STRASBURG, Colo. — A boil water advisory for the town of Strasburg was lifted Wednesday. The advisory was issued after low water pressure was detected over the weekend, Adams County Health Department said on Monday.
Strasburg's water storage was drained while fighting a fire near Byers on Saturday, the health department said. The brush fire, which was estimated to be at least 1,100 acres, burned eight structures before it was contained, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office.
No contamination of the water has been detected. The advisory was issued out of caution to keep businesses and people who live there safe.
