YouTuber wanted in Colorado for going more than 150 mph has been arrested

Jail and court records indicate Rendon Dietzmann, 32, has been detained. Dietzmann is wanted in Colorado on suspicion of menacing and reckless endangerment.

DENTON, Texas — Jail records and online court records reveal the motorcyclist who was seen speeding at excessive speeds is now in custody in Texas.

A spokesperson for the Denton County Sheriff's Office in Texas confirmed Rendon Dietzmann has been arrested on his Colorado warrant for menacing and reckless endangerment.

Online jail records indicate Dietzmann is currently being held in the Denton County Jail for “assault”; however, the case number within his booking information corresponds to his warrant out of Colorado. The spokesperson couldn't explain why his booking record referenced assault.

Colorado court records indicate his warrant status has been changed to “detained,” on Wednesday, the same day he was booked in Texas.

Colorado State Patrol Investigators issued a warrant for Dietzmann’s arrest for seven misdemeanor counts. In the affidavit, investigators wrote they identified Dietzmann through video from a Colorado Springs convenience store he visited before traveling at speeds exceeding 150 miles per hour on Interstate 25 in September.

Dietzmann uploaded a video of himself in a video titled “...from Colorado Springs to Denver in 20 minutes” which showed him darting dangerously between vehicles at excessive speeds.

A spokesperson for the District Attorney's Office in El Paso County, Co. could not say if Dietzmann was arrested for his Colorado case or on another case in Texas.

9NEWS is awaiting a response from the Denton County Jail and Colorado State Patrol  for more information.
