The warm weekend saw plenty of Coloradans hit the trails, lakes and other outdoor areas. Summer in Colorado is one of the most pleasant times in our state.
However, this weekend definitely wasn't great for the owner of a boat out at the marina in Chatfield State Park.
Littleton Fire and South Metro Fire got the call to send dive teams out after a boat there sunk near the south ramps, according to a tweet from Littleton Fire.
No one was hurt as no one was in the boat when it went to the murky depths of the marina. Littleton Fire told 9NEWS that an unsecured drain plug "allowed the vessel to take on water."
Yowch.
It looks like nearly a dozen firefighters came to the scene to get the thing up from the bottom of the marina.
