WELD COUNTY — Two people were taken to the hospital after a semi rear-ended a school bus from the St. Vrain Valley School District on Tuesday morning, according to Mountain View Fire and Rescue.
The crash was reported just before 7:30 a.m. at Highway 66 and County Road 13 in Weld County.
The driver of the school bus and the driver of the semi were both taken to UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies for treatment, Mountain View Fire said. It's unclear at this point how severe their injuries are.
At the time of the crash, only two students were aboard the bus, firefighters said. They were both evaluated at the scene for minor injuries.
